  • Relevant IT diploma or degree
  • Basic understanding of source control and computer operating systems
  • Proficiency in one or more programming languages
  • Proficiency in at least one relational database system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Good understanding of Google Education
  • the ability to think logically
  • a good understanding of how software and operating systems work
  • excellent listening and questioning skills
  • the ability to interact confidently with clients to establish what the problem is and explain the solution
  • the ability to work well in a team
  • problem solving skills
  • a strong customer focus
  • the ability to prioritise your workload
  • be able to provide technical support and resolve software related problems
  • know data standards and security
  • knowledge of POPIA
  • committed to start and complete a task or project in a reasonable timeframe
  • 3 years systems administrator experience
  • 3-year computer science/IT degree (or equivalent industry experience)
  • Experience supporting Mac, Linux and Windows
  • Experience with IT-infrastructure documentation and auditing
  • Experience in policy implementation and enforcement
  • Market related salary will be offered depending on qualifications and skills.
